Eila Adams has the story of an ex coal CEO going to jail Charlie Sheen is in trouble with the law again and the fall-out from the so-called religious freedom legislation continues THIS is a Naked News Bulletin.Isabella the families of the 29 workers killed in a coal mining explosion are FINALLY getting justice Don Blankenship the former CEO of Massey Energy was convicted of misdemeanor conspiracy for violating mine safety standards back in December. On Wednesday he was sentenced to a YEAR in federal prison and ordered to pay the maximum fine of 250 thousand dollars. Mr. Blankenship expressed sympathy for the victims during sentencing but denied any liability for what happened. Charlie Sheen is under criminal investigation by the LAPD. It_s all over allegations made by his ex-fiancee A lawyer for 26-year-old adult film star Scottine Ross says that she filed the complaint after hearing a taped phone conversation where Sheen threatened to KILL her. It_s not the first time Ross has taken legal action against Sheen. She sued him back in December for allegations of assault and battery. The duo are also currently in private arbitration over whether or not he disclosed his HIV status to her. And at least FOUR states and SEVEN major cities have now banned non-essential employee travel to North Carolina and Mississippi. The move is in reaction to new laws allowing businesses there to REFUSE service based on religious convictions. If the ban continues to gain momentum it COULD hit both states very hard. Around 1 in 10 North Carolina and Mississippi workers are employed in the business and leisure travel industry. We_ll be right back.
