And new Federal Aviation Administration rules bring us that much closer to the age of drones delivering packages The current laws concerning COMMERCIAL use of drones require their operators to have a PILOT_S LICENCE and apply on a case-by-case basis Under the new regulations taking effect in August commercial drones can be operated by a pilot over 16 years old who_s passed a written test. Of course the rule that the drones have to stay within the pilot_s line of sight will prevent drone deliveries from being a realistic option for awhile. We_ll be right back.
