January 6, 2017, 3:28pm. Petty Theft. 19 year old Caucasian male, 53, caught on camera sneaking unpurchased merchandise into his backpack. Store employees recognized the boy from a previous visit, leading the Loss Prevention Officer to bring him in for additional questioning. Seeing that the boy had a previously recorded incident, the officer called in the suspects parentlegal guardian. While a second offense procedurally requires escalation to local authorities, an understanding was reached by the suspect, his stepfather, and the Loss Prevention Officer, and they were released without involvement of law enforcement. $59.99 retail value recovered for the store without incident.
