But our first story comes to us from Boston, where the city is digging out of yet another MASSIVE snowfall. There_s so much snow now in Beantown, Carli, that they don_t know what to do with it That_s right, Peyton, Boston has been hit with its THIRD major storm in two weeks. We_re talking a total accumulation now of about EIGHTY inches in the last 30 days. Here_s the latest.Two more feet of snow has just fallen on Boston, smashing snowfall records. It_s really insane what_s going on there. Schools are closed once again and public transportation has been suspended and will remain closed until at least Wednesday. The storms have been relentless in the Boston area, it_s snowed 13 of the past 17 days and believe it or not, even MORE snow is expected later this week. In other news, ten women and two men will serve as the jury in the trial of the man charged with killing American Sniper Chris Kyle. Attorneys for former Marine Eddie Ray Routh will argue he is not guilty by reason of insanity, due to post-traumatic stress disorder from his time in Iraq. More than 800 summons were sent out for the trial-more than four times the usual amount. Opening statements begin in Texas on Wednesday. And a wild rush-hour police pursuit of an armed man in Los Angeles ended with the suspect being shot and taken into custody, all on live TV. Police were led at high speeds through downtown streets and highways, while the suspect crashed into several cars and high-jacked another vehicle. Local TV news stations in LA broadcast the pursuit live from cameras mounted on helicopters. The suspect_s identity and condition have not released. We_ll be right back.
